Menton, Barbara Lynch’s Relais & Châteaux fine dining restaurant in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking a Front Server to join the team.
With beautifully executed cuisine, an unparalleled wine program, warm hospitality, and a glamorous setting, Menton seeks to excite, inspire, and transport guests. Pristine ingredients and refined technique are the basis for the seasonally inspired menus. A six-seat bar, with additional seating for ten at tables along a banquette, features expertly crafted cocktails and an approachable menu of comforting classics. Executive Wine Director Cat Silirie’s carefully curated wine list highlights small grower champagnes and rare vintages from lesser-known vineyards.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about food, wine, and creative hospitality. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will work well with colleagues, both front and back of house. Furthermore, ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of service etiquette and mechanics along with an appreciation for the little things that add up to make for a great experience for their guests. Front Servers work in partnership with their Captains, performing a number of responsibilities that directly impact guests’ dining experience.
Ideal candidates should have one to two years experience in fine dining, preferably in a front/back service model. However, we are ready to train the right candidate regardless of experience.
