Open Call Interviews will happen Thursday 3/5 from 3pm-4pm at Au Cheval Dinner - 33 Cortlandt Alley, New York, New York. During the Open Call expect a 5-15 minute interview where you will get to meet with various leaders of our Hogsalt Leadership team. Please come prepared with any questions you may have about the position you are interested in.
 
Au Cheval is looking for a skilled Sous Chef with at least 2 years of experience.
 

Brendan Sodikoff’s nationally acclaimed Au Cheval spins diner classics with a hip-hop vibe, an open kitchen, and a French influence, topping it all off with classic cocktails and a huge number of beers on draught.  The fun happens for brunch, lunch, and dinner, going until late at 33 Cortlandt Alley.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Open availability; including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Flexible and willingness to adapt to ongoing changes.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing teams.
  • Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership.
