Marky's Caviar is a retail gourmet shop with a hidden restaurant in the back called Huso. 

HŪSO is a fine casual caviar where Chef Buddha Lo former Eleven Madison Park and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay London alum, applies contemporary techniques to execute opulent dishes highlighting caviar with every course, including dessert.The dining room serves an 8-course tasting menu of a one time 7pm seating serving 12 guests from Tuesday through Saturday.

We serve lunch daily 12pm-5pm and brunch Saturday and Sundays 10am-3pm. 

We're looking for someone is passionate about food, gourmet products and caviar especially with a caviar heavy based menu. We want to provide every guest with a thoughtful, warm service. We are a small staff, so it is important that everyone works together and has a willingness to help out with whatever needs to be done. This position is demanding, with a serious approach first class to customer service, quality of product and food. All team members wear multiple hats challenging your ability to multitasks and delegate thus providing a lot of room to grow within our company.

The key factor is that our dining space and retail shop are adjoining and all employees are responsible in being able to serve tables while still focusing on driving sales in our retail shop. 

Must have knowledge of service, light food prep and great customer service.  

Basic Requirements:

  • Must speak English
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Fine dining / serving skills
  • Proper plate holding/balancing
  • NYC Food Handlers (is a plus)
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
  • Wine knowledge
  • Proper knowledge of marking tables
  • Knowledge of proper cutlery/glass wear polishing
  • Upholding proper sanitation standards
  • Organization
  • Establish and maintain working relationship with employees and support staff
  • Understanding of government compliance program related to sale of Caviar and other regulated foods items
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

Work Environment + Physical Responsibilities: 

  • Continuous interaction with customers, the chef and co-workers
  • Since you are serving clients and selling out of the front retail you will be on your feet, there is no sitting on this job unless you are on your lunch break.
  • You are not allowed to use your phone during a working shift
  • We receive deliveries daily of fresh product, need be you might need to receive + lift a box 5-20 pounds max and put the products away.
  • The safe and proper handling of slicers, knives, ovens, coffee machines and kitchen utensils.
  • Exposures (temporary) to extreme temperatures (ovens, freezer, cooler, etc.)


Dress Code:

  • All associates will be given long sleeve navy blue Marky’s polos, you are required to wear black pants or a black skirt must be knee length.
  • Dinner Service – Must wear white button down and blue pants
  • You are required to wear black, navy or brown shoes.
  • During the AM shift you are allowed to wear sneakers (black only)
  • No earring, rings, bracelets or facial piercings are allowed to be worn during your shift
  • You can wear a Marky’s baseball cap during the AM shift to protect hair if doing any food handling

Compensation: Competitive wages, plus great tips potential


Hours: We are open 7 days a week. Our operating hours are 10am-8pm.

We will staff in 2 shifts AM:9am-5pm and PM:4pm-11/12pm
