What We're Looking For:
Our newly opening Classical American Restaurant is looking for an experienced and professional Line Cook who can prepare menu items to specified recipes and takes pride in their work, and in exceeding the guest's expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for portioning, cleaning, multiple station cooking and maintaining a clean and sanitized work area. We are seeking an individual who has experience within a FIne Dining Restaurant Kitchen and is committed to impeccable food preparation and presentation.
 
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Prepare every component of each dish on our menu according to specified recipe guides.
  • Prepare proper serving portion sizes and adhere to all basic meal preperation procedures used in the kitchen.
  • Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant's cleanliness standards.
  • Work with a team of cooks to complete prep work and prepare Mis En Plas for all services.
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product.
  • Ensure Kitchen and all cooking equipment is cleaned after service.
  • Complete all other reasonable requests made by the Culinary Leadership team or General Manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years’ cooking experience in high volume, fine dining restaurant settings. 
  • Passion for food and a desire to learn.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends & holidays.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Team Player!
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organization skills.
  • Timely & Responsible.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
  • Be able to provide documentation indicating legal ability to work in the United States.
