Job Details

Golden Age Hospitality – the group who brought you Lemon's, Le Crocodile, Ray's, Happiest Hour, Slowly Shirley, ACME, Ray's, and Tijuana Picnic – is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team! We are a service-driven, internal hospitality group committed to giving our guests a positively memorable experience.

Interested candidates should have proven management experience in the NYC restaurant/hospitality scene, or an equivalent high-volume locale. Ideal candidates will be familiar with driving the operation's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will lead by example to ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and service standards. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate daily FOH & BOH operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to guest inquiries and complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and standards, and research new vendors
  • Organize, schedule, and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant’s image and atmosphere, and determine ways to improve
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
