The Link Restaurant Group was founded in January 2009 by James Beard Award Winning Chefs Donald Link and his business partner Stephen Stryjewski, with the goal to support the continuous growth of their family of restaurants, currently including Herbsaint, Cochon, Cochon Butcher, Calcasieu, Peche Seafood Grill, La Boulangerie and Gianna. We are currently looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our team.

Requirements

  • Prepares and produces food items to be utilized in production and pantry areas
  • Prepares all items according to recipe standards
  • Maintains required stock levels in the restaurants
  • Relieves the line cooks as needed
  • Makes recommendations in the ordering of supplies
  • Prepares items such as but not limited to soups, fruits, proteins, vegetables, garnishes and salads. Adheres to kitchen maintenance and sanitation programs
  • Maintains assigned station and equipment in a clean sanitary condition
  • Maintain current and accurate information regarding menu (i.e. preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients and plate presentation)

 

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
