Cote is seeking to expand its team! We are looking for a hard-working and talented RUNNERS for FULL TIME employment. Applicant must be able to work WEEKENDS. 
Runner Job Description:

Runners are service professionals responsible for the rapid delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guest tables. Runners elegantly present each dish to the table with detailed explanations of the item’s major components. Runners should have thorough knowledge of all menu items, allergies, and presentation to answer all guest inquiries and maintain quality control. Runners also act as a liaison between the kitchen and service. Runners work with all members of the Back of House and Front of House Service team to ensure a smooth continuation of service.


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Stock and organize runner stations in the kitchen before service begins.
  • Prepare plate ware, silverware, and garnishes.
  • Plate dishes according to standards set by the Executive Chef.
  • Deliver guest dishes to their assigned position and table quickly and accurately.
  • Complete all assigned side work related to set up and breakdown of kitchen area.
  • Maintain all tools of the position.
  • Adhere to company uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards. Arrive to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work.    
  • Assist other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the entirety of a shift over multiple floors.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.  
  • Must be able to move, carry, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Cote brand, culture, and product.
  • Excellent communication with management and teammates.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and state Department of Health standards for the kitchen and service areas.
