We are seeking talented Pastry Cooks to join the AM/PM Marta Pastry Team Full Time!

Pastry production is responsible for the daily preparation and production of bread mise en place, breakfast pastries, frozen items and pastry products for dessert service  & banquets. The items you produce are served in 3 properties: Marta, Caffe Marchio & Vini e Fritti. Pastry cooks may work in a variety of techniques including, but not limited to frozen items, gelatos, doughs, laminated doughs, cakes, cookies and bread. Pastry Cooks typically have several duties that revolve around helping the kitchen stay clean and operational.

The food at Marta is inspired by the tradition of rustic Roman pizzerie, the neighborhood haunts that churn out thin, crackly-crusted pizzas into the late hours of the evening. The restaurant celebrates the Italian tradition of cooking alle brace, or over embers, dedicating a section of the menu to daily specials – meats, fish and vegetables – all kissed by the fire.

Additionally, no Roman-style pizzeria would be complete without salty fried snacks and a robust offering of seasonal salads. The beverage list showcases Italian as well as local craft beers, along with thoughtfully selected wines and cocktails. Marta is open continuously seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night.
