Looking for candidate who has a strong passion for the bar servise and willing to learn and build the new japanese style bar.
 

About o.d.o

o.d.o is the beginning of a new journey for Chef Hiroki Odo. With respect to seasonality of ingredients in Japanese tradition and modern culinary techniques, Chef Odo is exploring the perfect balance. Odo embodies the deepest appreciation of nature and creativity in culinary wonders.

Our goal is to make Kaiseki cuisine more approachable to everyone. If guests know we are using domestic farms and harvesting fish from local coasts, we feel there will be some familiarity.

What we do now will become the foundation for tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide guest’s complete Japanese style bar experience.
  • Adhere to all company service standards and protocols.
  • Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Support team with beverage service to all other dining areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of bar tools and bar areas.
  • Communicate respectfully with chefs and kitchen team as necessary.
  • Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.

Skills & Requirements

  • Japanese whisky knowledge.
  • Japanese style bartending knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume environment.
  • Strong beverage knowledge and a passion for the service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
