Job Details

ROOH Chicago is looking to expand their management team! Seeking restaurant management professionals who want to grow their careers with us. 

Position Summary: Leads the successful day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Trains, supports, develops FOH staff, provides exceptional customer service, ensures food safety, and maintains steps of service. Reports to the General Manager. 

  • Leading the restaurant team in the successful day-to-day operations.
  • Maintaining a clean restaurant with excellent quality food and customer service.
  • Leading all pre-shift service meetings with FOH staff. 
  • Ensure all safety and security systems and procedures are followed to ensure safety of employees and guests.
  • Support and implement Company local store marketing programs.
  • Responsible for the physical/asthetic maintenance of the restaurant.
  • Ensure that all menu items are made according to recipe and presented to our quality standards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of both food and drink menus. 
  • Ensure established standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained.
  • Respond to guest comments and criticism in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities as assigned by the GM. 
  • Responsible for making service cuts as needed. 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

 

  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
  • Food Safety Manager's and Allergens Certificate will be required within 90 days of hire
  • BASSET certification will be required within 90 days of hire
  • Food production standards
  • Restaurant operations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good training and coaching skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic Math skills
