About HaSalon: 

 

HaSalon comes to New York from Chef Eyal Shani (@eyaltomato), a renowned Israeli chef with 17 restaurants worldwide. HaSalon, the group's newest offering in Hell's Kitchen, offers two seatings per evening, one earlier and another later. The first seating is tranquil, offering the same menu but with a more quiet and mellow vibe. As the evening progresses, the dining room becomes more upbeat and loud as the party builds. Our kitchen specializes in fresh, seasonal vegetables, alongside homemade pastas, homemade breads, a variety of seafood and unique meat dishes designed to share. Our chefs work in an open kitchen, meaning the vibe of the kitchen (& having fun) is integral to the vibe of the dining room and the overall dining experience. Read: this is not a traditional kitchen job. 

Requirements:

  • MUST have experience working in a fast-pased, upscale environment
  • Strong knife skills
  • Experience with a variety of kitchen tasks preferred 
  • Ability to manage a station from prep to service
  • Desire to have fun and join a unique kitchen atmosphere
  • Availability Thursday, Friday and Saturdays (daytime prep, evening service)
