Spike Gjerde’s James Beard award-winning Woodberry Kitchen, is hiring Hosts.
Our Hosts function as a part of our warm, professional, and positive host team, however, they are responsible for managing reservations and service accommodations to ensure proper flow of service and assignment of each table. Our Hosts are the essential component to the proper flow of the restaurant and guest experience. As there are often competing priorities throughout service, Hosts must manage flow and receiving of guests, the ability manage the waits at our door, shift priorities and remain calm under pressure are key to our most successful Hosts. Additionally, our Hosts should convey a genuine interest and appreciation for our provisional offerings to our guests as well as perform other duties as might arise during service. This particular opportunity is focuses on answering calls from guests and the public, making reservations, and directing information to various individuals within the organization. Floor service would still be required one to two times per week.
