We have an immediate opportunity for a Chef de Cuisine in a fast-paced winery kitchen.
The Wente Tasting Lounge Chef is a hands-on, in-kitchen position and is directly responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations. Provides culinary support to wine tasting operations and provides, outstanding leadership and communication throughout kitchen operations. Creates and delivers thematic wine and food events. Directs and coordinates all kitchen activities consistent with established goals, objectives and policies. Responsible for all people activities including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training and coaching and counseling. Responsible for managing and improving systems, procedures and processes associated with profitable revenue growth, food quality, safety, food cost of sales, sanitation, inventory analysis and control and menu development.
Reports to the Executive Chef/Director of Culinary Services in establishing and executing kitchen policies and procedures.
