Position Scope:
Via Perla Line Cooks are responsible for actively ensuring a superior guest experience through accommodating and knowledgeable service and excellent food. They support the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and the entire team. They actively embody, inspire and learn skills that will elevate the core values, mission and vision of Via Perla and Walnut Restaurant Group

Requirements and Skills:
Integrity- Doing the right things always- using sound judgement- even when no one is looking
Excellence- Doing what needs to be done, as well as it can possibly be done
Hospitality- Doing all that can be done for others- and more than in expected- in thoughtful ways that let people know you are on their side
Entrepreneurial Spirit- Seeing opportunities others haven't-and creating opportunities others wish they'd thought of first
Ability to demonstrate classic cooking techniques
At least one year of professional kitchen experience
Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
An understanding of Department of Health food safety standards
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
Ideally, You also have:
1 year full-service restaurant experience in a Line Cook or relevant position
Culinary and/or Beverage Degree/Certification(s)
Advanced knife skills and ingredient knowledge
Ability to work full-time (including early mornings, late nights, holidays and weekends)

We bring you the cuisines of Italy.. We import prosciutto, parmigiano reggiano,and balsamic vinegars from Modena to name a few. We have close relationships with Italco in Denver, who have been importing thousands of quality Italian products for years, we couldn't be luckier to have this resource.
We are ingredient driven using local seasonal produce and bringing in fresh seafood, fish and meats.We make all our pastas in house daily.
It is our goal to bring some of Italy to Colorado and enjoy!
