Job Details

Island Creek Oyster Bar is looking for a motivated Pastry Assistant to join their kitchen team. As a pastry assistant, most days will be spent doing pastry production and working service, plating our desserts. Our in house pastry department makes all of our own ice creams, sorbets, breads, and breakfast pastries from scratch. We are a lively, high volume restaurant, open for dinner seven days a week, with lunch and brunch on the weekends. This position is for a PM schedule.

The ICOB kitchen is employee focused, offering a teaching oriented kitchen environment. We are a large, growing company that supports the professional growth of our employees. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their pastry career and work their way up. Candidates should have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

This is a full time position offering consistent work hours, a competitive hourly wage ($14-$18/hour) and medical, dental, vision & disability benefits offered at 90 days of employment.
