Boqueria Restaurants is opening our newest restaurant in Fulton Market later this month and are hiring exceptional Cooks to work PM shifts! We are looking for people who loves to provide exceptional customer service and work effortlessly as part of a cohesive team. Please only apply if you have open and flexible availability, and also experience working in a busy restaurant. Start date for this is Monday November 18th, as that is the first day of day of new hire training and orientation for our entire Opening Team. Boqueria is one of the leading Spanish tapas restaurant groups on the East Coast, with six locations spread throughout NYC and DC, and seventh set to open in Chicago’s Fulton Market in November 2019. Boqueria is a lively tapas bar, inspired by the buzzy atmosphere and great food of the Barcelona “Kioskos” that surround the renowned food market “El Mercado de la Boqueria” such as the famed Bar Pinotxo. The ideal candidate has:
- PM availability, including Saturdays and Sundays
- strong understanding of genuine hospitality
- experience working as a cook in a high volume restaurant
- a desire to work in a team environment
- a passion for food
- the ability to learn quickly
- a good sense of humor
- the ability to be flexible
- experience opening a restaurant is a plus
