SPQR is a San Francisco restaurant. Located on Fillmore st in Lower Pacific Heights, we are looking for a a skilled and career orientated candidate in search of a Sous Chef position to join our team.
Sous Chefs support the Chef and the team thru organizing, directing, and executing activities in all aspects of the kitchen and restaurant.

SPQR is a 8-time Michelin Star recipient. Our 50-seat open kitchen restaurant serves as the backdrop for our innovative Italian inspired cuisine and all Italian wine list.
Our menu focuses on the best regional, seasonal and artisan made ingredients, many of them American in origin. Our kitchen focuses on making best use of every part of those carefully sourced ingredients. With an emphasis on fresh pasta, in house butchery and vegetables, our seasonally driven menu changes frequently.
Our Kitchen is led by James Beard Award Nominated and F&W Best New Chef Matthew Accarrino and our team of hardworking and talented chefs.
Prior experience in similar kitchens is preferred but we are also willing to train the right candidate. We place an emphasis on learning and continual improvement. Above all we are looking for highly motivated, dedicated, committed and ambitious people.
Job Responsibilities include:
Management, coordination and assistance in daily preparation for all sections, expediting service, inventory management and ordering.
Assistance in training, supervising and coaching and counseling in coordination with Management of all Company policies and HR compliance.
Provide and demonstrate mentorship and growth for all hourly employees.
