On behalf of Torien, we thank you for your interest in this job offer. Torien is a sister restaurant to the highly regarded Michelin stared Torishiki restaurant in Tokyo. Known for its outstanding yakitori and customer service, Torishiki is known for being almost impossible to book a reservation. After years of planning Torien is finally ready to open its doors and is now hiring. The entire Torishiki team in partnership with Shōwa Hospitality are thrilled to bring Torien to New York City this December! We are looking for a Japanese speaking Front of House Manager with a background in service. As the entire kitchen crew is Japanese and does not speak English, it is imperative that the FOH Manager be fluent in Japanese. DO NOT APPLY TO THIS AD IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK JAPANESE FLUENTLY. The main duties for this position are to control service, wine/sake knowledge, manage reservations and coordinate with the kitchen staff. We thank you for your interest in Torien.
