Jean-Georges Seeking Experienced Line Cooks for 220 Central Park South!

220 Central Park S. is seeking a line cook with a positive attitude. As a private restaurant there will be opportunities to experience a broad array of food in the Jean-Georges repertoire. This unique position offers the time to spend focusing on attention to detail and producing the highest quality. Jean-Georges focuses on using the best ingredients sourced from local farms and green markets. This position is perfect for a recent culinary school graduate motivated to learn, or the seasoned line cook looking for the opportunity to spend time refining their craft.

About the Role

  • Demonstrate and promote the Jean-Georges culture, always positively representing the Company.
  • Work within the team to cultivate a positive work environment.
  • Follow recipes to Jean-Georges standards
  • Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and timing.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free and organized station at all times.

About You

  • Culinary degree preferred, with 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have a strong sense of urgency.
  • You’re a team player and have strong communication skills.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
