Multi-award winning chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette are seeking experienced and driven cooks to join our dedicated staff at TORO in West Chelsea.

Toro is a small plates, tapas restaurant. We are committed to education, and evolution of our food, staff and service. 
We want to grow our team with like-minded cooks who are interested in using market driven ingredients of the highest quality.

Co-Chef/Owners Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette opened TORO NYC in the iconic former Nabisco Factory. At South Chelsea’s incarnation of Boston’s Barcelona-style tapas bar, chefs Oringer and Bissonnette feature an eclectic menu of modern tapas that combine regional Spanish flavors and techniques with local and market-fresh ingredients.

The Mixology-driven cocktail menu features a section dedicated to Spain’s drink of choice: the Gin Tonic. The wine program also emphasizes Spain, highlighting emerging producers and growers alongside iconic winemakers and brands. An ongoing calendar of events is hosted by our beverage director, including master classes, guest bartender nights, and wine tasting opportunities provided to both our staff and the public.
