Chef driven, fast paced west side classic is looking for new members to join our team! We are a seasonally driven restaurant that focuses on old world techniques and modern Italian flavors. Our food exemplifies our scratch kitchen philosophy, with pastas made by hand daily, produce from the local farmers' market, whole animal butchery providing the backbone of our cuisine. We look for Chefs and Cooks looking invest time and training into our program as we look forward to investing time and training in you. Our goal is to give our staff the opportunity to learn and develop in their professional lives to build careers for themselves while enriching our program here at The Tasting Kitchen.

Pastry Assistant / Plating

Chefs we are looking for should have a foundation in
How to work as a team member
Have the ability to operate a clean and precise working environment.
Knowledge of DOH protocols.
At least 2 years of experience in a like minded kitchen
Knowledge of yeasted doughs and breads
Familiar with french basic pastry techniques ie: basic chocolate work, anglaise and sorbet bases, purees, whips, candies
Replicating plating techniques and composure
