Merkaz, CookNSolo's forthcoming Israeli pita sandwich shop (a sister restaurant to Dizengoff!), is seeking a line cook to join its opening team. 

Open 8am-7pm every day, Merkaz, meaning "center" in Hebrew, will serve hot breakfast and coffee in the morning, pita sandwiches, hummus and salatim for lunch, and prepared foods to go in the evening.  Candidates are hardworking, self-motivated, and value the guest experience.  This position requires you to work clean, conscientiously, and efficiently.  Open-mindedness and a willingness to learn and grow every day are vital to success in our kitchen.

Responsibilities include:
  • Setting up and maintaining a clean work station
  • Prepping daily mise en place
  • Executing our menu the the fullest extent
  • Effectively and efficiently communicating with coworkers with a think-on-your-feet mentality
  • Partially interfacing with guests to represent the food we serve
  • Working both opening and closing shifts
A minimum of 1 year experience is required.
