Job Details
Trattoria Italienne melds together rustic cuisine from northern Italy & the south of France to Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood.  Located next to Madison Square, this 140-seat restaurant features the cuisine of acclaimed chef, Jared Sippel.  Chef Sippel’s cuisine highlights the best products of the season and focuses on the close relationships with our purveyors. 

We are looking for employees who share our passion for food. 

Responsibilities include:
- Work the line through busy services 
- Abbility to manage station from prep to service
- Keeping a clean and organized work station throughout service
- Making sure station is stocked before and after each shift

Requirements:
- One or more years of line experience in a NYC restaurant
- Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
- Culinary/College degree a plus
- Must have Open availability and flexible schedule (however, mostly nights are needed)
 
Benefits:
- Closed on Sundays
- Paid Sick days
- Closed on Major Holidays such as Thanksgiving/Christmas - "spend time with your family"
- Overtime
