Abaita is a new 40 seats kosher restaurant in Midtown East Manhattan looking for an energetic and motivated candidate for the Service Manager position.
The position covers but not limited to:
. FOH screening, training, pre-shifts, implementation of sideworks,
. dining room quality of service, implementation of abaita steps of service
. knowledgable about our menu, ingredients, beverege program, and most important of our essence
. inventory counts, tracking and ordering of beverage, liquor, dinnerware, restaurant supplies
. guest relation
. bridges and communicates between FOH and BOH as needed. Confers with food preparation and other personnel from the dining room, to plan any related activities.
. relation to the staff, scheduling for FOH, directs motivation of personnel
. close attention to the team, to service, to the dining room and working areas
. Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities and ensures that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
. investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints
* We request references and 3 years of experience / hospitality degree is a plus.
* A flexible schedule is a must, since the Manager would float between lunch and dinner shifts.
We offer 2 days off, 5 days of work. more details in a second interview. Salary around 48K/year.
