Summary/Objective  Ensures guest satisfaction by following the Schulson Collective steps of service. 

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food & beverage to restaurant guests.
  2. Assists in prompt delivery and explanation of ordered items.
  3. Works as a team with other Servers, Bartenders and support staff to ensure Schulson Collective steps of service are met at all times.
  4. Notifies Managers of any delays, complaints or other potential negative impressions.
  5. Creates memorable experience to build repeat business. Inform guests of other Schulson Collective restaurants.
  6. Runs food and beverage to guests as well as busses tables. 

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma preferred.
  2. Minimum one (1) year prior experience in fine-dining environments.
  3. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
  5. Exceptional hospitality/guest relations.
  6. Prior knowledge/use of Toast or similar POS is preferred.

Additionally, Via Locusta’s cocktail program will complement the from-scratch, local, seasonal, and sustainable tenets of the kitchen. Schulson Collective’s Head Bread Baker, will create special Italian-style bread with local grains.
