 Commerson is a highly rated upscale casual restaurant in the miracle mile area of Los Angeles. We are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team. We are looking for passionate individuals with experience cooking in high volume restaurants. Candidates must be extremely organized, efficient and reliable. Must be available nights and weekends.
Junior Sous Chefs will be responsible for the following:

* training of kitchen staff
* cost control and minimizing food waste
* Ensure consistency and portioning of all food
* Responsible for ordering and ensuring product qualtiy
* Ensures a clean and sanitary kitchen
* Ensures upkeep, repair and maintenance of all kitchen equipment

Required Skills:

* Experience in all stations on the line
* Excellent organizational skills
* Knowledge of proper cooking techniques and recipes
* Able to order and receive
* Excellent communication skills and ability to lead staff in absence of chef

Required Experience:

* Must have at least 2-3 years experience as a working Lead Line Cook, in an upscale casual style restaurant * POS and Office computer software experience
