Hungry Pigeon, the 3 bell and award winning Philadelphia restaurant is looking for a new restaurant manager. Candidate should have an ideal 5 years of experience in the service side of the restaurant industry, including time spent in a management position, and be familiar and comfortable with managing a staff of around 20.
Hungry Pigeon is an all-day cafe, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. It is the concept developed by old friends and owners Chef Scott Schroeder and Pastry Chef Pat O'Malley.
Our menu focuses on responsible and sustainable sourcing from the PA area, and the food is served in a casual and laid back family-style service.
As General Manager, you will oversee and work alongside the Beverage Manager, and our daytime "Captains" who have been with us for some time now. This position is a full-time salary position (approximately 50 hours a week), and will include (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
