Cleavers is cheesesteak shop located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. We’re talking 100% USDA domestic ribeye, fresh bread, and artisanal ingredients—all culminating in a delicious Philly Cheesesteak. We also offer a generous selection of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sides for every taste.
We are looking for a skilled line Cook to prepare meals according to the menu. You will prepare dishes that will satisfy our customers with its taste and timely delivery.
An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be smart in moving around the kitchen and capable of multi-tasking. Experienced in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Help clean the kitchen at night (mop, sweep etc)
Help restock items (paper products, ingredients, supplies etc)
Proven experience as a cook/fryerGood knife skills are a MUSTKnowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, frying, broiling etc.)Ability to follow all sanitation proceduresAbility to work in a team environmentVery good communication skillsGood physical condition and staminaHigh school diploma or equivalent
SERVSAFE is not required but preferred
Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Types: Full-time (40-50 hrs/week), Part-time(25-35 hrs/week)
Typical first shift is 10am-4pm
typical second shift is 4pm-11:30pm
pay starts at $10-$16 based on experience with room to grow
