Sunday Hospitality has event locations in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Brooklyn is comprised of two original brick venues in Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods, SUNDAY IN BROOKLYN and RULE OF THIRDS. Los Angeles is in the historic LA Railway Building in Downtown Los Angeles, SIBLING RIVAL and PILOT.
You will be working with a top-tier team in a professional and creative environment. This position is perfect for someone who wants to get his/her foot through the door and pursue a long-term career in the F&B industry and pastry. We believe in promoting education among our team and building strong and solid techniques and foundation.

Job Overview

  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of Tartine.
  • Contribute to create a culture and work environment based on respect; providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow, and develop their abilities
  • Arrive to the kitchen floor ready to work at the time of the start of shift (change before shift).
  • Understand all aspects of the pastry, viennoiserie, and ice cream menus developed by the pastry management team and how to execute each component
  • Execute recipe processes and techniques developed by the pastry management team to ensure consistency and quality
  • Write prep lists to ensure that all components of pastry items are delivered for service in a timely manner and that the next day’s shift is set up with product to execute their day. Communicates with following day’s shift on amounts of product.
  • Execute pastry menus developed by the pastry management team.
  • Properly train, educate, and direct incoming pastry team members.
  • Own the stations that they are working each day.
  • Clean all equipment and workspaces following specific cleaning procedures set forth by pastry management
  • Work gracefully in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace
  • Work in a thoughtful manner when executing any and all tasks

  • Dependable and hard-working.
  • Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards.
  • Must be available to work on different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sociable and friendly to staff and guests. We believe personality is your biggest asset.

  • You jump out of bed every morning, buzzing with energy, and excited for what you’ll accomplish today.
  • Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
