Frankies Spuntino Restaurant Group is looking for a talented & motivated Sous Chef to join our team.

Our restaurants are inspired by the tradition of rustic Italian American cuisine.

Great food starts with great products as well as how the food is handled. The kitchen at Frankies is committed to technical excellence and this experience promises to accelerate the careers of dedicated and professional line cooks.

In addition to being part of the Brooklyn culinary team, there is an opportunity to gain experience setting up a restaurant & kitchen at Frieze Art Fair held every year in May as well as the opportunity to work with great chefs around the world at the Franks Backyard series where different chefs visit our Brooklyn location and cook a 4 course meal with the Franks.

Qualifications required: 

- Minimum of 4 years of cooking in a professional environment

- Advanced knife handling skills

- Menu/recipe development

- Family meal preparation

- Food budgeting

- Food cost optimization

- Food safety knowledge

Chefs and co-owners Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli, known as “The Franks”, grew up together in Queens, NY and opened their first restaurant together in 2004, Frankies 457 Spuntino, in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn based on the light and simple Italian fare of their childhoods.
