Frances is a James Beard Award nominated restaurant in San Francisco’s Castro District, run by award-winning Executive Chef Melissa Perello. Frances’ elegantly understated decor reflects the restaurant’s commitment to a refined dining experience in a casual, neighborhood environment. The restaurant’s daily changing menu spotlights the bounty of Northern California, and is the product of Chef Perello’s longstanding relationships with local farmers and producers. With service and quality at the forefront, the Frances experience is thoughtful and curated from beginning to end.

Skills we are looking for in candidates:

-2 years’ experience as a line cook

-General knife work including chopping and vegetable breakdown

-Advanced knife skills including fish and meat butchery

-Cookery: vegetables, meats, grilling, frying

-Time management

-Working knowledge of food cost optimization and inventory process

-Food safety and sanitation: ServSafe Certification required

Personally, you should:

-Have a strong work ethic

-Be clean and organized

-Have strong communication skills

-Have a positive attitude

-Be a self-starter and work well without constant supervision
