Fork Restaurant has a new chef Jeremy Hansen, ready to re-invent our culinary program in October!  Fork has been nominated as a semi-finalist James Beard Foundation Outstanding Restaurant for delivering exceptional hospitality.  Our culinary team have received national recognition for our commitment to local farms, purveyors, and environmental sustainability. For our guests, delivering a tailored dining experience - defined by warm and welcoming service - lies at the heart of everything we do! As we work together, mutual respect and constant learning drive our team mentality.  New chef Jeremy Hansen from the Pacific Northwest will be rolling out a new menu in October.        

We're looking to add new members to our culinary team! Are you looking to grow with a team committed to excellence and constant improvement? Do you seek to create memorable dining experiences for your guests? Do you want to expand your knowledge in a collaborative environment?  

We're seeking candidates with solid restaurant experience, but more importantly, we want candidates who love what they do. If hospitality is second nature to you, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
