Calling all serious cooks! 

 

Latest of deck for Chef David DiBari, Eugene's Diner & Bar, located in the heart of Port Chester.  A diner inspired restaurant serving anything from burgers, shakes, pancakes and caviar.

Eugene's Diner & Bar is in search of a skilled, energetic, and dedicated individual to be a part of a great team and thriving business. Must be willing to listen, learn, help and be a team player

Competitive salary and fun, creative work environment, weekly Kitchen Bonus

 

The ideal candidate: 

 

  • Excellent knife skills 
  • Experience on multiple kitchen stations
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Preparing and executing key components of dishes while ensuring quality and accuracy of product
  • Maintaining a clean and organized station at all times
  • Adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures paying special attention to health and safety requirements
  • Performing all closing duties of the kitchen daily as determined by chef.
  • Maintaining and stocking station, freezers, refrigerators and store room as needed
  • Providing general support to Chef and other cooks
