Capitol Riverfront Raw Bar and Fish House Seeking Line Cooks!

Longshot Hospitality is now hiring Line Cooks for The Salt Line located across from Nationals Park on the SE Waterfront. If you are looking to expand your knowledge alongside a talented team of restaurant professionals, we would love to meet you and take this opportunity to advance your career within our company.

The Salt Line is a New England style fish house located in the Dock 79 development.  The 3,500-square foot space boasts an expansive dining room, private dining room, outdoor seating, and a riverfront bar.

Chef Kyle Bailey's menu draws inspiration from New England Classics and showcases his creative talents with seafood charcuterie, crudos, and signature raw bar offerings. Our program focuses on locality and sustainability. We are the founding members of Dock-To-Dish in Washington, D.C. Dock-to-Dish focuses on taking the middle man out of the seafood supply chain much like the Farm-To-Table movement. Due to this, you can expect to handle all manner of seafood in a technique-driven, unpretentious kitchen environment. You will also work with our team executing whole animal butchery, pastas and breads, real scratch cooking, and preservation methods.

The beverage program boasts an imaginative cocktail program alongside an eclectic wine list and a craft beer list drawing heavily from NE & local breweries.  We partner with local distillers and breweries to highlight what makes DC so special while bringing in those names that make NE beer and spirits so noteworthy.
