Gadabout is looking for line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers to form the foundation of our BOH team! We are a new, independent restaurant opening in the heart of Andersonville. Our menu will take inspiration from “global street food” and focuses on a diverse, bold, and highly seasonal palette of ingredients and techniques used by different regions and cultures. 


Duties will include taking daily ownership of your station’s ingredients and prep, keeping your station “health inspection ready” at all times, learning quickly in order to have the flexibility to rotate stations in a small kitchen, and contributing to a system and culture that will shape Gadabout into one of the linchpins of our community.


Our 120-seat dining room (including private dining and bar) can serve upwards of 300+ guests a night, so organization and time management will be one of many keys to success. Because opening a new restaurant is dynamic, the ideal candidate should possess a highly positive attitude, a self-starting drive, a willingness to learn, and perhaps most importantly, patience. A valid ServSafe certification will need to be provided within 30 days of hiring. 


Health, dental, and vision insurance are available to all full-time BOH employees. BOH employees are compensated with an hourly wage and additional gratuity.
