Job Details
Bad Brother is a brand new bar & restaurant in Fairmount seeking experienced applicants. We will be opening in late August/early September and are hiring for front of house positions including:

- Servers
- Bartenders
- Support Staff (Bussing, Food Running, Bar Back, Hosting)

We have 3 Owner/Operators (2 FOH, 1 BOH) that will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This will allow us to hire a limited but very talented staff.

We will offer a seasonal modern American food menu that is a balance of approachable and more eclectic. Our focus at the bar will be on local craft beer but we will offer a full-bar including cocktails and a small but thoughtful wine list. The first things guests see is a 15 seat wrap-around bar but with 40+ dining seats we want to establish ourselves not only as a great neighborhood bar but as one of the best places to eat in Fairmount. 

BARTENDER
- 5 shifts per week
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant industry
- Great food, craft beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge is a huge plus
- Must be willing to keep learning and cross-train as necessary. The menu will change often and the ability to keep up on everything is essential
- Must be RAMP certified (or willing to obtain)
- We are essentially looking for a "rock" behind the bar. Somebody that not only has several years experience, but also a great personality, great knowledge, and is willing to be a leader of a small team. You will be one of the faces of the restaurant. 
- This position absolutely has room for growth. Whoever we hire for this position will have a lot of freedom to make this their bar. Since this is a brand new bar/restaurant, this person will have a lot of input on the actual setup behind the bar and also the evolution of our beverage menu as time goes on. This position could grow into a bar manager or restaurant manager position if it is the right fit. 

SERVER
- 5 shifts per week (full time)
- 3-4 shifts per week (part time)
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant industry
- Great food, craft beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge is a huge plus
- Must be willing to keep learning. The menu will change often and the ability to keep up on everything is essential
- Need to be a team player and be willing to cross train as necessary
- Must be RAMP certified (or willing to obtain)
- This position needs to be a jack of all trades. There are two floors of guest seating. The kitchen is on the second floor and the bar is on the first floor. So you need to be able to help everywhere (running food, seating guests, helping other servers, jumping behind the bar if necessary)
- This position can also be a hybrid of both bartending and serving if it is the right fight
 
SUPPORT STAFF (Bussing, Food Running, Bar Back, Hosting)
- 5 shifts per week (full time)
- 2-4 shifts per week (part time)
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant industry (but willing to train the right person)
- Great knowledge is not necessary right away but you must be a hungry person that wants to grow within the restaurant and learn as much as you can.
- Need to be a team player and be willing to cross train as necessary
- Busser, Food Runner, Bar Back, and Host are not individual positions that we will fill. We are looking for somebody that can do a little bit of everything. Wherever you are strongest will be where you start but as time goes on we need this position to be a hybrid.
