Job Details
Osteria, featuring James Beard Best Chef Award Winner Chef Jeff Michaud, is currently looking for part time and full time Bartenders to add to our team. 

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  2. Responsible for mixing craft cocktails following standard recipes and procedures.
  3. Explains in detail food & beverage menu items, making recommendations based upon guest preference.
  4. Works as a team with other Bartenders, Servers, and support staff to ensure Schulson Collective steps of service are met at all times.
  5. Ensures the safety of all bar guests by determining age for alcohol consumption and recognizing alcohol limitations.
  6. Creates memorable experience to build repeat business. Inform guests of other Schulson Collective restaurants.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 75 pounds. The employee will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.

Required Education and Experience

  1. RAMP Certification required.
  2. Minimum one (1) to two (2) prior experience in high volume, fine-casual or fine-dining environments.
  3. Must have a passion for craft cocktails and a working knowledge of flavor pairings.
  4. Strong knowledge of current industry trends including classic cocktails, wine, and beer.
  5. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
  7. Exceptional hospitality/guest relations.
  8. Prior knowledge/use of Toast or similar POS is preferred.
