Job Details
The International, from the same ownership as Standard Tap and Johnny Brenda's, is looking for a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to join the team.  Humor, compassion, professionalism, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are all necessary components of the job.
The food we serve is utensil free, that draws upon casual dishes (i.e. street food)  throughout the world. The focus of the food is to compliment our well thoughout beverage program.  We think bar snacks are more than just chicken wings and nachos.  Full time availability is a must.

  • Inventory Control (Orders and Receiving Logs) and ensuring all Invoices are checked in and signed
  • Hiring for Back of the House positions and Scheduling within budgetary guidelines
  • Issues Counseling Reports, Terminations and Termination Reports
  • Responsive to Employee Complaints and Suggestions
  • Responsible for implementing new menu items, alternate forms of plate presentations, recipe alterations and service ideas
  • Conducts line checks for quality control
  • Responsible with Executive Chef to make sure Cost of Sales are being kept in line with careful oversight of food prep, portion control, recipe adherence, waste control and training of kitchen staff
  • Kitchen Sanitation and Cleanliness
  • Enforcement of all Health Department Requirements
  • Provides overall safety of Employees and Property including Kitchen Equipment
  • Communicating Problems with other Management Team Member
  • Lifting over 25 pounds

Compensation details

1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment
