In collaboration, with the restaurant’s General Manager and Chefs, Cotogna is seeking a Service Manager to lead and manage all facets of the FOH operations, service and to assist with the wine program.

In this role, the ideal candidate would manage and execute service and improve upon culinary, hospitality and service standards, and advance the education and performance of our staff. Candidate will be responsible for FOH training, bar program and daily operations. Candidate must have the ability to lead and inspire staff, and display a commitment to quality and hospitality.

Ideal candidate would be a skilled, career-minded individual who is passionate about product, hospitality and education. Knowledge and curiosity about and for Italian wine and food is key as well as the confidence and ability to lead high energy, volume driven services.

A minimum of two years of experience in fast paced hospitality management as well as a minimum of one year in fine dining hospitality management. 
Excellent Communication Skills (verbal/oral/listening) and Leadership Skills 
Fluency in excel and word

Food & Beverage knowledge with a solid understanding of Italian and California wines, spirits and regional Italian cuisine

The position has growth potential and ability to explore a number of career opportunities within Cotogna and its affiliated Three Star Restaurant property, Quince, and the newly opened French wine bar, Verjus.
