Job Description:

Food and drink is the focal point of any social gathering and CDA is a community meeting place that encourages making new friends and connecting with old.  Our food, beer, wine, and cocktails are inspired by the bounty and diversity that the Mediterranean has to offer.  We work with local farmers, growers, and purveyors to help showcase products that are true to the region and are in the peak of their seasonality.  Our chefs create a unique dining experience with familiar classic small plates that are delivered in fun and creative ways, all focused around the concept of sharing.  We encourage you to sip a drink.  Share as much food as you can.  Hang out.  And feel welcome. 


  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service 

  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards 

  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way 

  • Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet 

  • Bus and re-set tables 

  • Perform opening, cleaning and closing duties 

  • Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions 

  • Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods 

  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards 

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage 

  • Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs.

  • Restocks the dining room and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments and linen.

  • Reset tables with fresh linens and set the table according to the meal period.

  • Assist restaurant servers to serve the guest.

  • Perform outlet-opening duties such as setting tables, chairs, Chef in dish or chaffing dish, printing item / dish names for placing in front of the dishes.

  • Cleaning side stations, stocking, and replenishing side station supplies.

  • Emptying and cleaning food preparation carts.

  • Cleaning the coffee urn and the bread warmer.

  • Returning soiled linens to the laundry.

  • Collecting fresh linens and taking them to the restaurant / room service / banquet room.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to a changing clientele and environment. 

  • Other duties deemed necessary by Supervisor, Manager and/or Department Director. 

  • Responsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner. 

  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. 

  • 3 months experience as a Busser in a full-service restaurant
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Continuous bending, reaching, twisting and use of hands and arms
