Front of House Staff - Rosy's Taco Bar
 
Rosy's Taco Bar, located at 23rd & Walnut St., is currently interviewing for experienced front of house staff. Positions are available immediately and include both bartender and server.  RAMP certification required, can be done during training.  Experience is highly preferred but we will train the right candidate.  Qualities we are looking for are a commitment to hospitality, teamwork, puncuality, and a positive outlook on work and life!  We are a hard-working crew here at Rosy's.  Come join us!   
 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Reports to work on-time, according to the schedule. The schedule could be revised according to business needs.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Maintains knowledge of current menu offerings, promotions, events, features and seasonal menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any item, etc. and informing the guest accordingly
  • Pass regular food and beverage menu tests by established deadlines
  • Perform opening/closing side work as required by service station assignment
  • Maintain clean and stocked service stations throughout the shift
  • Greet all guests warmly and in a timely fashion
  • Guide the guest through their dining experience & anticipate guest needs; we are more than order takers
  • Ensuring order accuracy to avoid waste
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely matter
  • Communicating specific customer needs to the managers and/or kitchen
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Bartenders and Servers are part of a team. You will be working with other servers, support staff, bartenders and cooks to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential. Be ready and willing to assist any member of the team as needed
  • Silent service, attentive service
  • Prompt and accurate payment processing & cash handling
  • Seek out manager involvement with any guest or employee issues
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a manager
  • Assisting with special events as needed
  • Must follow all health, safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings
  • Maintains positive working relationships
  • Works safely and ensures the safety of staff and guests
 

Who is this person? 

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years previous serving experience required
  • Must have ability to handle money and operate POS system
  • Be able to safely lift 20 pounds
  • Excellent oral communication skills required
  • Positive interpersonal skills required
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English
  • Must be available to receive RAMP Certification
