K'Far Cafe is looking to add an enthusiastic, hardworking cook to our pastry team. We are a new Israeli bakery and all-day cafe from CookNSolo, the team behind Zahav, Abe Fisher, Federal Donuts, Dizengoff, and Goldie. At the helm of K'Far Cafe is 2018 James Beard Rising Star Chef Camille Cogswell, Pastry Chef of Zahav and Executive Chef of K'Far.
Our baking & pastry team members will be producing elevated Israeli cafe fare including: borekas, rugelach, babka, jerusalem bagels, and challah for the daytime menu and desserts such as malabi custard for dinner. Some pastry experience is preferred but not required. Above all we value a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and reliability. Early morning hours may be required.
