Job Details

Plenty Cafe, a European-style all day cafe, is looking for an experienced Front of House manager. We are looking for customer service minded professionals that possess a passion for excellent service as well as food, wine, cocktails and beer. Extra bonus if experienced with coffee. We want people who are energetic and want to be part of a team who is focused and passionate about all facets of food & beverage. This person will be expected to execute top level service in a fast-paced environment. Our beverage program consists of classic cocktails, draft and bottled wines by the glass and a handful of beers as well as an extensive amari selection. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow from the Director and Owner.


Overview:
Excellent customer service is one of the cornerstones of our success and shares the same level of importance as the quality of our food and beverage. 

Our performance expectations for FOH staff are:
- Provide impeccable customer service skills
- Be extremely punctual, tidy and clean in appearance (adhering to the Plenty Cafe uniform policy at all times) 
- Work in a small team to prepare and serve beverages and food
- Possess baseline knowledge of all products served and show ability to supplement the rest through trainings and independent research
- Maintain and organize all service ware and serving areas 
- Maintain a clean and safe restaurant environment
- Are professional at all times and in all situations
- Act as a representative of Plenty Cafe at all times
- Collaborate with all other members of the company professionally, respectfully and with integrity
- Demonstrate exemplary communication skills -- in person, on the phone, by email, in text messages or when using any other communication tool
- Consistently meet commitments in a timely and professional manner 
- Accept constructive criticism well and offer it to others professionally and respectfully
- Can be flexible and jump in wherever needed even if the tasks fall outside of your job description

- Lead the service staff in a professional manner while also encouraging growth. 

Qualifications: 
- 1+ years experience in a full service restaurant
- Positive attitude and enjoy engaging with other people
- Possess a high level of attention to detail
- Work with an organized sense of urgency even in a slower service setting
- Like being creative and can be resourceful
- Visibly enjoy working in a high volume sales setting and can work effectively and efficiently at all times

- Must be RAMP Certified
