Chef Masa’s newest NYC restaurant, Tetsu, seeks a talented pastry cook to join our team .Tetsu, located in Tribeca, is the latest addition to Chef Masa’s group of restaurants. Tetsu is focused on showcasing Japanese cooking techniques, locally grown ingredients, locally distilled liquors and inventive cocktails. We seek pastry cooks who are driven, who thrive in a fast-paced enviornment, and who are passionate about food. Cleanliness, high end/elevated cuisines are all +s! The ability to multi-task and a friendly upbeat personality are all important. We are always happy to meet candidates with fine dining experience and excellent interpersonal skills as well as a genuine interest in the art and business of hospitality. A little about Tetsu: Tetsu is the 4th of Chef Masa’s restaurants in Manhattan, joining the acclaimed Masa, Bar Masa, and the Upper East Side gem Kappo Masa.On the ground floor, a casual dining space with open kitchens and long counters, guests will select from an inventive a la carte menu that reflects the comfort food of Chef Masa’s Japanese and NYC homes. Downstairs, the Raw Bar serves a seafood menu that changes daily.
