Job Details

Tria, Philadelphia's acclaimed wine, cheese and beer cafe, is seeking a passionate Floor Manager to join the team at our Washington Square location.

As a Floor Manager, you will be leading the team through openings, service, and other activities as it relates to the daily operation of the restaurant. Primarily, you will be focused on running the floor during service, along with performing administrative duties including ordering and receiving. You will not have to close the restaurant at night. As a front of house leader at Tria you will be responsible to support the General Manager, assist and direct the staff, ensure food and beverage consistency and help deliver an all-around excellent experience for our guests based on our service standards.

•Loves great food, dislikes industrial food (except Taco Bell on occasion)
•Loves great wine and beer (but we won't look down on your Riunite on ice)
•Serious service and hospitality experience -- fast-paced or fine-dining, 2+ years
•Strong, unshakable belief in following steps of service and systems for consistency
•A creative streak is nice. . .
•But organizational and time management stills are critical
•Plays well with others
•Ability to get others to follow you (1+ year real successful supervisory experience)
•Desire and ability to train staff, without screaming or throwing objects
•Solves problems rather than merely identifies them
•Full-time availability (five days) including nights and weekends
•Intent to stay at Tria for at least one year, hopefully much longer
•Reliable method of getting to work on time
•Computers don't terrify you (experience with MS Office, particularly Excel)
•RAMP and ServSafe certification a plus
