The Messina Social Club, re-established and opening in summer 2019, is now hiring for ALL front of house positions.
Genuine, energetic, dynamic individuals sought for server and bartender positions. Applicants must have a great work ethic and at least 2 years experience in an upscale restaurant. We are looking for staff that is enthusiastic about food and drink, customer oriented, personable, and professional. Must be available nights and weekends, late-nights as well. Bartenders must have experience working a full service cocktail bar. Wine, craft/classic cocktail and beer knowledge required. FOH staff will be cross-trained, so well-rounded individuals with a variety of bar and service experience are encouraged to apply. Must be self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task and work well as a part of a larger team.
Candidates must have at least 1 year experience working the host stand or door in an upscale dining or nightclub environment. Must be passionate about guest satisfaction and have great interpersonal communication skills. Polished dining room experience is required for host positions. Additional experience with table and kitchen pacing, cover counts, and cash handling preferred. Night and weekend availability is necessary. Professional and friendly demeanor and excellent telephone skills also required.
BACK SERVERS/SUPPORT STAFF
Candidates should have experience in fast-paced, food-focused dining environment. Should be personal and enthusiastic about food, must be comfortable with learning the menu and describing dishes to guests. Must be comfortable lifting busbins, carrying trays, and folding linens. Ability to multi-task and function as part of a larger team is required. Night and weekend availability required.
