Front of House Manager
High volume restaurant in center city Philadelphia is looking for a Front of House Manager. He or she will support the entire FOH team to ensure that the bar and dining room are functioning with excellence during service. Clear communication between Front and Back of House, as well as through the management teams and down to every last staff member, is of chief importance. We are looking for hospitality careerists who will grow with us!
Responsibilities and Duties
The FOH manager will deal in employee shift operations and floor management. In addition to the regular weekly schedule of management shifts, the FOH Manager will be expected to attend manager meetings. The FOH Manager will be expected to learn all positions in the Front of House to ensure that at any time they can jump in to help the restaurant in any situation. They will also be expected to learn Back of House procedures to ensure food is delivered on time, on brand, and with excellence. The FOH Manager must also handle the administrative duties of the day such as cash handling, blog reporting, invoice organization, and ordering, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
-Previous management experience at a high-volume location with 3 years manager experience preferred but not required. At least 4 years of experience working in restaurants is necessary.
-Ideal candidates will display commitment, enthusiasm, integrity, humility, and grace under pressure.
