Part-Time FOH Manager 

Irwin's is looking for a hands on FOH Manager to act as Manager on Duty (MOD) through the summer season (June - October). Current shifts would be Wednesday 5pm - close, Saturday 5pm - close, Sunday 11am - 10pm with some additional time before / post shift to support operations as required. 

The FOH Part Time Manager is responsible for the day to day of Irwin's and ensuring that a quality guest experience is upheld. This position requires a tenacious individual who is willing to get dirty when necessary, and inspire the staff to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations at Irwin's
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience from entrance to exit
  • Maintain the standards of health, safety, and sanitation throughout the operation including but not limited to the City of Philadelphia Health Inspection
  • Support efforts in recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and retention of staff
  • Lead the department in terms of coaching and counseling employees in order to provide our guests with the best possible experience
  • Issue progressive discipline in adherence with company policy
  • Work closely with the management team including but not limited to weekly communication, menu development rollout, coordinating offsite or brand events, and working with partners to meet revenue goals
  • Work with Events/Wedding teams to sell and execute private events as needed

Required Skills

  • Degree in hospitality preferred
  • At least 1 years in a FOH Manager or AGM role; 
  • At least 2 years in a hands on hospitality role, bartender or server experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft Officeand POS systems
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Indesign is helpful, but not required
  • Ability to make evaluative judgments and give constructive criticism
  • Have a working knowledge of employment-related federal and state laws
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong crisis management skills
  • Positive leader who sets a good example
  • Ability to train and supervise employees
  • Patience and integrity
