We are currently seeking talented and experienced Sous Chefs to join Executive Chef Kyle Knall’s (Formerly of Gramercy Tavern and Maysville) culinary team at Electric Lemon opening at Hudson Yards in partnership with the Equinox Hotel, where Chef Knall’s menu will focus on health-conscious cuisine that puts flavor at the forefront.
The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and values. A passion for local ingredients treated with simplicity and respect and desire to cultivate relationships with farmers and purveyors in the surrounding communities.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary-driven, well-rated restaurant
- Prior success in running expo and working all stations in a busy kitchen
- Strong administrative skills and prior experience managing scheduling
- Prior experience training and mentoring a diverse hourly line cook team
- Ability to drive performance and results of a diverse culinary workforce
- A minimum of an Associate's degree from a culinary school/university preferred
