We are looking for a Chef De Cuisine to join our team at o ya New York with an insatiable hunger for delicious food and drink. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Japanese cuisine and culture, as well as a strong background in kitchen management. 

 

Cushman Concepts is a dynamic restaurant group created by husband and wife team Chef Tim and Nancy Cushman. Candidates must love food and drink, be humble and ego-free, dependable and have a consistent, genuinely positive attitude/demeanor.   • Hiring, training, managing and developing the kitchen team
  • Menu and recipe development. We pride ourselves on our creativity and quality ingredients and work with our team to continuously evolve both our tasting menu as well as the a la carte options.
  • Managing of labor, food cost and sanitation practices
  • Execution of best practices in the kitchen
